Experience #5 - Butterflies and Tangrams

After looking at the art piece "Transformation" By Kelly Cannell, my K class was inspired to create our own butterfly pictures.

Since we have been learning about 2 D shapes we tied this lesson into Math as well as the thinking core competency. We were creative like raven and used the 2D shapes to create our own pictures.

A lot of the kids noticed and were inspired by the butterfly in the art piece! This is has been their favourite one so far!
